OVERVIEW
 
American Yoga Association online / inperson 16 hours International Yoga Expert Certification Program is the quickest, most effective and economical program to have an internationally valid yoga teacher certificate.
 
IYEC is welcomed worldwide and  certificates issued are valid all around the globe under the guarantee of the International Yoga Federation. Each trainee will get the International Yoga Expert Certificate after the course is completed and will be the registered yoga expert of International Yoga Federation.

The body is the mind's physical form; the mind is the body's abstract form. The application of yoga postures combines body and mind and keeps them in harmony. In order to deepen your own practice and to learn how to confidently teach others, much of your time will be spent on expanding your knowledge of yoga postures while paying attention to the breath, mind and how to be an observer of your own body and students.

Asanas mainly affect the endocrine and the nervous system.
As all the systems of the organism are connected,
when these two systems are affected,
these positive effects are reflected in the other systems.
 

METHODOLOGY

As there are hundreds of thousands of techniques on the Yoga path, the process of learning something new never ends.  By the IYEC methodology you will learn the codes of the Yoga System and be able to grow while teaching.
 
Yoga is a coded system. Each step of this system encompasses the qualities of the rest of the system. 
 
As you need to learn the letters to create words, sentences and maybe even a poem, by the IYEC methodology of learning how to teach, at first you will get familiar with the postures, then group of postures, than how to combine these groups to create your unique outline for an one hour session.
 
This program will give you the foundations on how to learn while teaching and keep growing without limiting yourself to the abilities of the moment.
 
The postures given in IYEC Program are often a preparation for the subsequent posture or the subsequent posture complements the previous one. This is why the postures are grouped.
 
The posture sequence presented in the IYEC program is the original and natural way. The postures pass from one to another fluently in a consistent manner. This original method increases the effect of Asanas for many times.
 
You can select and arrange the postures that are especially more beneficial and convenient to your students physical and mental condition and you can concentrate on individuals by giving variations according to the limits of their body without disturbing the basic sequence or the classroom.
 
It is very effective to teach yoga with the IYEC methodology and gives comfort in a surprisingly short period of time to the students you teach. The postures you will present once you become an expert, relieve the stresses, relax the tense muscles and joints, eliminate the toxins, cure arthritis and provide removal of intestinal gases.
 
Many performers, acrobats, athletes, dancers and sportsmen have superior physiques and are very capable of controlling their bodies,  but they can’t control their minds, intellects and souls. They respect their bodies above all else. But a yogi neither underestimates one's body nor intends physical perfection. The Yogi takes into account the development of emotions, mind, intellect and consciousness.
 
By implementing yoga, a person achieves the most important thing in his or her life - health. Health is such a thing that it can't be bought with money; it can only be obtained by effort.   Health is a full state of equilibrium and balance between body, mind and spirit. It's not necessary to have a firm, strong, limber body to do Yoga, unlike many sports workouts. In a short period of time, the body will be strong, firm and limber through yoga practice.
 
This 16 hour program will be the cornerstone for you. The original approach you will learn to present is defined and structured in a way that the body evolves slowly and systematically. Even if you have previous encounters, you learn how to do the basic postures correctly and then begin to do the advanced postures with the knowledge of, what really matters is the quality of application, not the number of the postures presented. It is not a sign of progress in yoga practice to have a flexible body or to easily execute advanced postures. What is necessary is to do the Asanas correctly and to come into a state of Yoga, in other words, integration during the implementation. It is only in this way that the special beneficial results of Asanas fully emerge.
