OUR MISSION
The American Yoga Association is a nonprofit PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes.The specific purpose of AYA is: to promote academic Yoga Education in USA based on the Original Yoga System, to help people improve their physical & mental health and make progress in their spiritual evolution and furthermore to co-operate with and support other charities, non-profit corporations, funds, or foundations organized that are both domestic and abroad with similar purposes and International Yoga Federation.
